Nashville School Board sets policy for future mask mandates
Members of the Nashville School Board have voted to extend Superintendent Doug Graham’s contact for two- years through the 2023-2024 school year.
Graham also reported the district had a Covid positive rate of less than 2 percent, as of Tuesday evening. He said the district had a positive rate of 9.5 percent last week before the district hit pause on in-person learning.
Graham said the district currently does not have a mask mandate, but the board will allow Graham to implement a mask mandate if the district’s positivity rate hits 5 percent in the future.
The board also accepted the resignation of Agri teacher Drew Tollett, effective at the end of the school year.
