Nashville School District continues to upgrade technology in the district
The Nashville School District has made another significant investment in technology. With school board approval this week, the district will purchase an additional 64 Promethean boards & assorted accessories. The purchase is being made through White River Services and Solutions of Batesville, at a cost of nearly $320,000 dollars. Promethean boards are interactive smart boards that allow teachers to expand their capabilities in the classroom.
Coupled with the purchase of Dell Chromebooks for students, the Nashville district has spent over $800,000 dollars in technology upgrades in the past few months.
Superintendent Doug Graham said the money to purchase the latest round of upgrades will come from some of the district’s carry over federal funds.
