Nashville School District Covid update
The Nashville School District reported only eight active cases of Covid 19 when classes resumed yesterday from the weekend. Those numbers include two teachers and six students. There were also 20 students with close contact. No teachers in the district were listed as having close contact. Yesterday’s numbers represent the district’s lowest figures since mid-December.
The trend of fewer active cases is also being seen on the county level in southwest Arkansas. The latest figures from the Arkansas Department of Health show 219 active cases in Howard County. Pike County is reporting 156 and Hempstead County has 247.
