4th Grade Lemonade Sale!

It’s easy in our fast-paced lives to forget to stop and take time for others. To simply care. To care for someone else not thinking what it will bring you and I but for the simple joy it may bring someone else. A story coming this week from some of our own. More specifically the 4th grade class of Hannah Toppor. It was Mrs. Toppor’s class that decided they cared enough to make a difference in today’s world. Here is Hannah Toppor with the story that sparked it all.

Pulling together to make a difference is exactly what they are doing. I had the pleasure of speaking with a few of these young bright minds so they could share their story. Here’s Dalton, Molly, and Rayniah presenting.

A classic idea powered by a class full of young minds and big hearts. Here’s Mrs. Toppor on the students involvement with the process.

A lot of work but despite the challenge these kids are up for the task. I asked Dalton, Molly, and Rayniah how it made them feel to be able to help someone else. From the mouth of babes. Here’s their response.

I don’t think I could have put it any better myself, Dalton. Well there you have it, folks. The 4th grade class of Hannah Toppor is having a lemonade sale this coming Friday May the 21st from 11am to 1pm in the circle drive at the Nashville Elementary school. Mrs. Toppor told me rain or shine those kiddos will be ready to sell you some lemonade. So don’t let a little rain stop you from showing your support. The price for a delicious cup of lemonade will be whatever you can give. All proceeds will go directly to the purchase of an ADA approved handi-cap accessible swing for our very own city park. So clear your 11:00 and 12:00 plans this Friday and come show this 4th grade class that caring does make a difference.
