Nashville Scrapperettes and Scrappers Defeat Arkadelphia in Conference Matchups

On Monday evening, the Nashville Scrapperettes and Scrappers traveled to Arkadelphia for another important conference matchup, with both teams coming away with big wins.

In the girls’ game, the Scrapperettes dominated the Lady Badgers, securing a 73-56 victory. Junior Karstyn Scrivner led the charge with an impressive 27 points, while junior Angel Watson contributed 17 points and sophomore Ava Basiliere added 14 points to the scoreboard. With this win, the Scrapperettes now hold a 21-7 overall record and an 8-1 mark in conference play.

In the boys’ game, the Scrappers faced a tough challenge in a back-and-forth battle but managed to come out on top, defeating the Badgers 65-60. Top scorers for the game were junior Johnte Taylor with 23 points, sophomore Bo Bell with 16 points, and junior Demetrus Shelley, who added 15 points. With the win, the Scrappers are now 14-6 overall and 6-3 in conference action.

Looking ahead, both the Scrapperettes and Scrappers are set to travel to Camden on Friday night to face the Camden Fairview Lady Cardinals and Cardinals, weather permitting. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., and fans can catch all the action live on B99.5.

Both teams continue to build momentum as they push toward the final stretch of the regular season.
