Nashville will host regional softball and baseball action

Nashville will host the regional softball and baseball tournaments this spring. The announcement came Thursday afternoon during the bid opening process conducted by the Arkansas Activities Association. The district had also submitted bids to be the host site for the state tournaments in those sports, but Morrilton was awarded the designation of being the state tournament host in both sports. Morrilton also received the 4A State Basketball Tournament, with Star City getting the 4A South regional.
Scrapper Stadium was also chosen yesterday to be the site of this spring’s 4A State Track meet.
