Nashville Wins Local Basketball Tournament

The Nashville Senior High basketball teams won the championship Saturday night of both divisions at the Southwest Arkansas Classic Tournament in Mineral Springs. The Scrapperettes defeated Murfreesboro, 60 to 45, while the Scrappers beat Bradley, 59 to 55, in winning the boys championship.

Both Nashville teams resume conference play Tuesday at Arkadelphia.
