NHS Teacher recently announced as the 2023 Educator Impact Honoree

A representative from Arkansas School for Math, Sciences, and the Arts recently announced Coach Eric Perez as the 2023 Educator Impact Honoree. Perez was nominated by a former student as a teacher that has made the greatest impact. 

Perez talked about how it feels to be nominated along with mentioning how the students made an impact in his life.

Perez stated that he’s been teaching for three years and it’s his 2nd year teaching for the Nashville School District.

Perez even had a special message for anyone in the community that’s interested in being in education.

Perez said quote “Teachers may not always receive recognition or see the difference they make in the lives of their students, so when they do they consider it a great privilege.
