NJHS FCCLA chapter attends state conference in Benton

Students from the FCCLA chapter at Nashville Junior High School attended the state conference this week at Benton.  Christie Hanney is the group’s advisor.  She says the chapter was honored for its growth this year.  There was also one N.H.S. student elected to a state office and that announcement came during the conference as well:

FCCLA stands for Family Career and Community Leaders of America.  Throughout the school year, Hanney says the organization is involved in a variety of activities locally:

The organization’s goal is to help students get ready for the workforce and become involved in their community once they graduate high school.
