NJHS FCCLA

On April 5-6 13 NJHS students attended the FCCLA State Leadership Conference and State STAR Events Competition in Hot Springs.  After competing at the regional level and qualifying for state, seven NJHS students competed in four different STAR events in Hot Springs.  Their results are as follows:  Zoe Sitzes and Haillie Vennard – Event Management – Silver;  Bailey Kessler – Fashion Construction – Gold/National Qualifier;  Lily Arbuthnott, Christy Maya, and Kaylee Santamaria – Food Innovations – Silver/National Qualifier;  Milagros Sanchez – Teach or Train.  The NJHS Chapter also received two awards for their community services and work over the past school year: FCCLA Gold Star Chapter & Platinum Level in Arkansas State Project.

9th graders – Zoe Sitzes and Haillie Vennard – Event Management – Silver;
