Pafford Medical Services expands into Pike County

Pafford Medial Services is continuing their expansion into southwest Arkansas counties.  As of Sunday, Pafford has acquired the Guardian Ambulance operation and is now serving the citizens of Pike County.  With the Pike County and Guardian acquisition, Pafford now operates the state’s largest regional EMS system.  In addition to Pike County, Pafford’s footprint also includes Hempstead, Howard, Nevada, Little River and Lafayette counties.

Company officials say they will continue housing ambulances in both Murfreesboro and Glenwood to serve the entire county. 

Residents having medical emergencies should call 9 1 1 and understand the dispatching for ambulances will now be routed through Pafford’s dispatch headquarters in Hope.  Pike County residents needing ambulances for non-emergency services, are asked to call 855-367-9911.
