Pike County Deputies trying to locate Delight man for assaulting his ex-girlfriend
On Wednesday August 16th, Pike County Deputies were dispatched to Cherry St in Delight in reference to a break-in. The suspect was identified as 43-year-old Brandon Watts of Delight.
According to the affidavit, Watts had broken into the house of his ex-girlfriend Lisa Clay. Deputies reportedly made contact with Clay and she informed officer’s that after she and Watts had broken up, Clay filed for a protection order on August 15th, and it was granted. Clay reportedly informed deputies that Watts was at her house that morning trying to get in along with unhooking the battery cable to Clay’s vehicle. Clay said that Watts finally left the residence.
On the same date at 12:45pm, deputies were dispatched back to Clay’s house in reference to Watts breaking in and assaulting Clay. It was reported that Clay stated that Watts had kicked the door open and started hitting her in the head. Clay even recorded Watts trying to make an entry. Clay was transported to the hospital for treatment. Deputies reportedly have been trying to locate Watts to serve him, all while these assaults are going on.
