Pike County Man Charged With Drug Possession
A Delight resident is being charged with a felony count of drug possession.
Authorities say 28 year old Joseph Vancamp was originally questioned by police in April regarding a trespassing complaint from the Davidson Campgrounds in Clark County. When deputies went to question Vancamp regarding the complaint, police say he gave them consent to search his vehicle. While conducting the search, deputies say they discovered a magnetic key holder in the vehicle’s console. Inside the key holder, authorities say they recovered a clear bag containing a crystal like substance believed to be methamphetamine. Other drug paraphernalia was also recovered according to deputies.
Vancamp is being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance–methamphetamine and with possession of drug paraphernalia. Both charges are felony counts.
