Pine Bluff man arrested for residential burglary

On April 19th, Officer Mackenzie Vermillion of the Murfreesboro Police Department was informed that Robert Faulkner wanted to make a theft report. According to the affidavit, Faulkner advised Vermillion that on his home security system there was a picture of a slender, tall white male wearing work boots, blue jeans, a white t-shirt, and carrying two backpacks. It was reported that Officer Vermillion recognized the male as 19-year-old Asher Levi Crail of Pine Bluff.

Faulkner reportedly told officers that someone had made an entry through the West end window of the trailer, tore out a window AC unit and that a white Xbox one along with a laptop/computer was missing. It was reported that officers located Crail at a residence at approximately 1:30am in Murfreesboro. As reported, after officers spoke with Crail, they searched Crail’s vehicle and found a gray backpack with a Dell laptop inside of it. Vermillion also noticed a glass smoking device commonly used for ingestion of marijuana laying in plain view, a black pill container with a label Green Springs Medical with suspected marijuana. Officer Vermillion then put Crail in a patrol unit and drove him to the storage units by Gypsy Underground to locate the XBOX ONE that was inside of a backpack.

Crail was transported to the Pike County Detention Facility and charged with residential burglary, theft of property, criminal mischief first degree less than one thousand dollars possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance.
