Plyler appointed to Cattlemen’s Beef Promotion and Research Board
A Hempstead County cattle producer has been appointed to a three year term on the Cattlemen’s Beef Promotion and Research Board. 40 year old Caleb Plyler has received the appointment from U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, Sonny Perdue.
Plyler is one of 28 new board members who will see their term beginning in February.
He owns Plyler & Son Charolais and serves as a board member for Arkansas Farm Bureau. Plyler also serves as Chairman of the Arkansas Beef Council.
