Rattlers defeat Mineral Springs, now face the Gators

The Murfreesboro Rattlers opened up conference play with a big victory over the Mineral Springs Hornets. Coach Marc McRae said it was a shootout, but he was pleased with the outcome.

The Rattler offense is averaging 55 points a game over the last three games. McRae said the offense is executing and playing fast.

This week, the Rattlers will travel to Foreman to play the Gators. McRae said the Gators’ 1 and 5 record is not a true indication of how good this Foreman team is.

The Rattlers and the Gators will kick things off Friday night at 7 pm at Foreman.
