Regional Basketball Tournaments Get Started

High School regional basketball tournaments begin today across Arkansas. Today’s games involving area teams include the Dierks Outlaws playing Parkers Chapel this afternoon at 5:30 in the 2A regional in Fordyce. The final game tonight will also be a boys contest between Murfreesboro and Junction City. Several area teams will begin play today at the Class A regional taking place at Caddo Hills. At four o’clock, Blevins plays Emerson’s girls. Both Kirby teams will also be in action. The girls team will face Dermott and 7:00 o’clock and will be followed by the Kirby boys playing Strong tonight at 8:30.
