Relay For Life Wrap Up
The Howard County Relay for Life met for a post relay wrap up meeting in Nashville on Tuesday. Event chairperson, Joanna Howard, reported the teams raised $39,078.62 this year. Husqvarna was the first place team by raising $17,878. Tyson Foods of Nashville was second with $14,683.
Sponsorship plaques were presented to the following businesses and individuals: Southwest Arkansas Radio, Mike Erby, Ferguson Health Care, Smith’s Mini Storage, Bill ‘Catfish’ Piggee, M&M Timberlands, Michael Howard Insurance, Shelter Insurance, Kortlan Screen Printing, Nashville City Park, Diamond Bank, Howard Memorial Hospital, Nashville News-Leader, UA-Cossatot, Arvest Bank, Farmer’s Insurance-Ruth Steely, Tyson Foods, PRT, Inc., Bright Star Baptist Church, Rosemary #198 DES and Landmark Insurance Agency, Inc.
Teams will meet January 14 at 5:30 pm to gauge the community’s interest in supporting Relay for Life.
