Republican Committee announces filing period and locations in Howard County

The Howard County Republican Committee says the filing period for county and township offices will begin at noon on February 22nd and end at noon on March 1st.

Candidates can file at Smith’s Ready Mix, located on Highway 278 South, any weekday hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the filing period. A member of the local Republican Party will be present to accept candidate filing fees and provide appropriate forms.

After filing with the county Republican Party, candidates must provide written evidence of filing fee payment and additional paperwork to the Howard County Clerk before noon on March 1st.
