Rising COVID numbers force schools to transition to Virtual instruction
Due to an increasing number of Covid-19 cases, the Nashville School District has announced will be utilizing the virtual learning method for students tomorrow. School buses will not run Friday, however, all staff will be on campus. District personnel say teachers for the 7th through 12th grades will be available through phone calls or email if needed. Teachers for Kindergarten through the 6th grades will be available to meet with students on a face to face basis for further instruction, if needed.
Student assignments for the junior and senior grades will be available in Google Classroom.
Student assignments in the primary and elementary grades will will be available online or in paper form, which is being sent home today.
The district also reminds students to practice social distancing throughout the holiday period.
After continuing to review the appropriate data concerning COVID-19, the Dierks School District has decided to pivot to at home learning for today and Friday.
On site instruction is currently planned to resume on January 4th.
