Scrappers Advance In District Basketball Tournament

The Nashville Scrappers secured a spot in next week’s regional basketball tournament Tuesday evening with a 59 to 51 win over De Queen in the district tournament. Nashville was ahead by double digits at half time before the Leopards drastically cut into the lead during the second half.

The Scrappers will play Arkadelphia in the district tournament semifinals Thursday afternoon at 5:30. Their game will follow the Scrapperettes’ contest against Mena which starts at four o’clock.

B 99.5 will broadcast both games tomorrow afternoon.
