Scrappers defeat Fouke 5-0

The Nashville Scrappers improved to 13-12 overall by defeating the Fouke Panthers 5-0 in a non-conference game Thursday afternoon at Wilson Park.

Banks Ray was the winning pitcher. He gave no runs on three hits while striking out seven and walking four. Aiden Chapman came into the game in the seventh inning closed out the Panthers one-two-three.

Every Scrapper hitter got a hit or drove in a run.

Aiden Smith and Aiden Chapman went two for two at the plate with an RBI. Kason Willard went one for three. Kaleb Halter, Tyler Brown, and Nic Garcia went one for four at the plate. Garrett Willard was one for one and scored a run.

Ethan Gunter was hitless but drove in a run on a sacrifice fly. Slade Slayton drove in a run on a fielder’s choice.

The Scrappers will finish the regular season this afternoon on the road at Fountain Lake. B 99.5 will have the live broadcast at 5 pm.
