Scrappers fall to Miners

The Nashville Baseball Scrappers suffered their first conference loss of the season Tuesday afternoon at Bauxite, 3 to 1. Miner pitching held the Scrappers down offensively. Prior to yesterday, the Scrappers had put up double digit run totals in seven games already this season. Nashville’s only run of the game came in their final at bat series in the 7th. The Scrappers best chance for a multi-run inning came in the 3rd, but they left the bases loaded.
Nashville returns home for a Thursday afternoon contest against Horatio and won’t play another conference game until after spring break.
