Scrappers New Head Football Coach speaks at Nashville Rotary
Wednesday afternoon, new Scrapper head football coach Shawn Jackson spoke to the Nashville Rotary Club.
Jackson was introduced by Nashville Superintendent Doug Graham. Graham stated coach Jackson was recommended by former Scrapper coach Billy Dawson and Greenwood head football coach Rick Jones.
Graham also explained what sold the search committee on coach Jackson.
Jackson started by saying his father was a Rotarian and he was honored to be speaking to the Nashville Rotary Club.
Jackson didn’t make any promises to the Nashville Rotary Club about wins and loses, but he promise that Nashville would be proud of this program.
Currently, 41 players are participating in off-season workouts, but Jackson said there would be a few changes coming to the practice schedule.
