Oklahoma man charged with drug charges in Howard County

A Valiant, Oklahoma man has been arrested on drug charges in Howard County.  According to reports, 27 year old Richard Daily was arrested after Deputy Dillon Roberts observed a vehicle speeding.  During a traffic stop of the vehicle, Deputy Roberts said he observed drug paraphernalia, within plain view, inside the vehicle.  While searching the vehicle, the deputy said he recovered a pistol, along with an eye glass case containing a plastic bag with a substance believed to be methamphetamine, some drug paraphernalia, and a plastic bag with suspected methamphetamine residue. 

Daily was a passenger in the vehicle, but told Deputy Roberts that he was the vehicle’s registered owner.  Daily is charged with felony counts of possessing meth or cocaine with purpose to deliver and for possessing  drug paraphernalia.
