Scrappers travel to Bauxite for final regular season game
High school football teams in our immediate area have been able to avoid a major COVID-19 problem during the football season and the only games missed by the local teams have been due to a cancellation from their opponents. Tonight is the final night of regular season play and the Nashville Scrappers travel to Bauxite for a conference contest with the Miners. Even though Bauxite has struggled the past two weeks, Scrappers Coach Mike Volarvich says the Miners are playing tough for a new head coach:
The Scrappers enter tonight’s contest knowing that a victory will secure the home field advantage throughout the playoffs, which is something the Scrappers haven’t enjoyed in a while:
Kick off in Saline County will be at 7 o’clock this evening. B 99.5 will have the live coverage.
Other games on tonight’s schedule will have Malvern hosting Arkadelphia, Fountain Lake is at Ashdown, Prescott travels to Glen Rose, De Queen will be at Texarkana, Hope is on the road to Magnolia, and Lakeside will host Hot Springs.
