Search Warrant Leads to Arrest and Drug Seizure in Nashville
On September 27, 2024, at approximately 8:15 AM, law enforcement executed a search warrant at an outbuilding used as a residence behind 509 East Henderson Street. During the operation, officers arrested 65-year-old Edward C. Walker without incident.
The search yielded significant quantities of illegal substances, including approximately 14.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine in individual bags, around 5.4 grams of suspected marijuana, glass smoke pipes with methamphetamine residue, digital scales, plastic bags, and various items of drug paraphernalia.
Walker has been charged with Maintaining a Drug Premises, a Class C Felony, as well as Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver, a Class A Felony. As of now, bond has not been set.
The warrant execution involved several officers, including Investigator Mark Barnes, Investigator Tim Bowlin, Lieutenant Clinton Tedford, and Officer Jarrett Rogers. The investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to address drug-related offenses in the area.
