Sevier County Sheriff’s Office asking for public’s help to recover stolen skidsteer

The Sevier County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in recovering equipment recently stolen from a local business.

The sheriff’s office is assisting Cossatot Rock in recovering a skidsteer believed to have been stolen from the company’s mine on Old Dierks Highway near Lockesburg sometime between Friday, February 17 and Saturday, February 18. The equipment is described specifically as a 2016 T550 Bobcat with a 2018 Blue Diamond Brush Cutter.

The company is offering a $5,000 cash reward for the successful recovery of the equipment and the prosecution of the individual or group responsible for the theft.

Anyone with information on the stolen equipment is asked to call the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office at (870) 642-2125.
