Staff of Howard Memorial Hospital guest speakers at Nashville Rotary Club
Last Wednesday, members of the Howard Memorial Hospital staff spoke the Nashville Rotary Club about their upcoming celebration on Friday, September 20th from 2 to 4 pm in the hospital lobby.
Sandy Webb is the administrative director and marketing for HMH. She invited the Rotarians to the hospital’s community event that will celebrate the hospital’s 75 years of service and HMH being named one of the Top 100 Critical Access hospitals in America by Chartis.
HMH has been serving the area since 1949.
Chief Operating Officer Stacy Harberson stated HMH was named a top critical access hospital after Chartis reviewed the patient surveys. Harberson reported HMH has also been named one of the cleanest hospitals in the nation. She said HMH was one of 350 hospitals to receive this honor in the nation and one of six in the state.
Harberson also stated HMH received a 5-Star rating. She said the hospital was only one of six that received a 5-Star rating in Arkansas.
Harberson also announced a change to the way HMH will be staffing the Emergency Room. She said they will be using a group called Energy Health.
