State Colleges & Universities Get Over $100 Million Extra

U.S. Senators John Boozman and Tom Cotton, along with congressman Bruce Westerman, announced an additional round of coronavirus relief funding for Arkansas’s colleges and universities Friday.

The funds totaling more than $14.5 million come from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act. The funds are provided in addition to the money previously allocated in the first round.

Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas will receive $48,991.

Arkansas colleges and universities received over $100 million in the first round of emergency grants.
