State Unemployment Numbers are down

Unemployment numbers last month dropped to 3.1 percent. Governor Asa Hutchinson says that is the lowest rate the state has seen since the figures have been recorded:

He said that Arkansas has increased the labor force over the years by growing in manufacturing and hospitality numbers, but that is offset somewhat by losing workers in the healthcare industry and in education.

County by county numbers will be released next week.
