Stuard charged with multiple charges
Wednesday’s Howard County Court session brought Brian Stuard. 28 YO Stuard of Nashville is facing multiple charges including criminal mischief, aggravated assault, and fleeing. On March 16th at 7:45pm officers were called to Grave Street Apartments in reference to a man threatening his roommate with a gun. Victim Wyquita Brown said Stuard demanded money from her and upon refusing pulled a pistol pointing it at her threatening to kill her. Brown refused so Stuard took a hammer and destroyed a 55-gallon fish aquarium and then took a knife and began stabbing a nearby sofa. Upon Brown calling 911 Stuard left the scene. Officer Greg Parker was on patrol at Quick Draw off of Highway 278 when he saw the suspect vehicle drive past him. Upon initiating a traffic stop Stuard fled exceeding speeds of 100mph. Stuard fled into Hempstead county going down a gravel road where Officer Parker was unable to safely pursue and had to discontinue the pursuit. Pretrial is set for June 23rd and Jury trial for July 13th.
