SW Arkansas Beekeepers meeting is Monday on Nashville campus of UA Cossatot

The Southwest Arkansas Beekeepers Association announced they plan to start meeting publicly again after being forced to meet virtually for the past two years due to the Covid pandemic.

Debra Bolding states the first meeting will be Monday, June 13 at 6:30 pm on the Nashville campus of UA Cossatot. She said this meeting will help the association gauge the interest level of the surrounding community.

Bolding stated they would like for interested parties to contact her or James Jones prior to the meeting to ensure they have material and resources for everyone in attendance.

Bolding also said the association had purchased books for the Howard County Library about bees and beekeeping if someone was unable to attend next week’s meeting.

Bolding said the Southwest Arkansas Beekeepers Association plans to hold several informational meetings throughout the year.
