Tax Deadline for Howard County residents

Arkansas residents and property owners are reminded that they have until Oct. 16 to pay their personal and real property taxes and avoid a 10 percent late penalty.

Taxpayers in Howard County can pay their taxes online at arkansastaxsearch.com.

The Howard County Collector’s office will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each weekday to accept payments. The office will also be open Saturday, October 7 and Saturday, October 14 from 8 a.m. to 4pm to accept payments.

The office is located at 421 North Main Street in the Howard County Courthouse.

Howard County taxpayers are reminded they can mail their payments to the tax collector’s office, but they must post marked by October 16 to avoid the penalty. Please include your statement and a receipt will be mailed to you.
