Texarkana man arrested for fleeing

On Saturday, May 18th, 2024, at 4:55am, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Russell David Dudley, 18 of Texarkana, TX, in the 3800 block of Highway 278 West for an incident that occurred in the 1400 block of North Hervey Street.  It was reported that Dudley was charged with Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm from a Vehicle, discharging a Firearm in the City Limits, Fleeing, Possession of Firearm by Certain Persons and Driving While Intoxicated. Dudley was held at the Hempstead County Detention Facility awaiting his first court appearance.
