The Rattlers host the Cougars Friday night

The Murfreesboro Rattlers can move one step closer to a three seed in the 2A playoffs with a victory over the Lafayette County Cougars this Friday night at home in the Pit.

Head Coach Marc McRae said the Outlaws deserve a lot of credit. He said they had a great game plan last week and they executed it.

McRae said Lafayette County is a talented team and the Rattlers will need to play a sound ball game to secure the win.

McRae stated the Rattlers need to get back to the basics and hold on the ball to secure a victory.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 pm at Murfreesboro this Friday night.
