Nashville Chamber Of Commerce To Hold Annual Banquet

The Nashville Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual awards banquet today. “Bloom Where You’re Planted” is this year’s theme.

Tickets are 20 dollars each and may be purchased today from Special Moments, Murry and Company Realty, Diamond Bank, First State Bank, the Nashville City Park office, Kid’s Dental Center, Pic-A-Lilly Flowers and Gifts or at the chamber office. Tickets will also be available at the door this evening. However, those tickets will cost five dollars more.

Nearly 30 awards are expected to be presented tonight including the annual awards given for Man of the Year, Woman of the Year and the Orange and Black. Several memorial awards will also be presented.

The banquet is being held at the Occasions Building on South 4th Street. Doors open at 5:30 with the silent auction. Serving of the meal begins at 6:00 o’clock.
