Traffic stop leads to a drug arrest
On April 5th, Howard County Deputy Jake Eudy conducted a traffic stop on Highway 355 after he observed a vehicle that was displaying a fictitious license plate. The driver was identified as 49-year-old Gregory Gardner of Nashville. As reported, Gardner allegedly told Deputy Eudy that he was on parole and that he knew he had a search waiver on file.
It was reported that Eudy conducted a search of the vehicle and located a black bag that contained a glass smoking pipe that had a white residue and a burned brown residue inside it. The pipe was consistent with the type of pipe commonly used to smoke methamphetamine. Gardner was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
