Two Arrested In Connection With Burglary

Two Texarkana women are being held in the Howard County Jail on charges of Residential Burglary & Theft of Property following their arrest last week. Authorities say 47 year old Kristiana Davis & 51 year old Kimberly Nettles were caught removing property from a home on Highway 27 near Mineral Springs. Howard County Chief Deputy John Eric Glidewell said deputies took an initial report October 27th of several muzzleloaders and a collection of pocket knives being stolen from the house. Two days later, officers with the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission installed a game camera at the residence. Shortly after 3:30 on the morning of October 31st, the camera took a photo someone walking toward the residence and sent that picture to the cell phones of game & fish officers and deputies. Multiple officers from the sheriff’s department, Nashville Police Department and Game & Fish responded to the home. Officers surrounded the residence and said they observed a light shining around the home’s basement. Howard County Investigator Joey Davis & Sheriff Bryan McJunkins reportedly entered the basement..where they found the two women boxing up several items from the residence.
