Walmart Intersection Change in Nashville

As of yesterday modifications are being made to the north entrance of Walmart. The goal in these changes are to prevent vehicles from exiting to the left when leaving Walmart by the Murphy gas station. This, according to the Nashville Police Department, is due to the high amount of traffic accidents at that particular intersection. From the north, by Murphy USA, you will still be able to enter from the right hand lane, however, if you wish to turn left when leaving the Walmart parking area you will now be required to exit via the intersection with the light. While this may be a minor inconvenience the hope of the Nashville Police Department is that safety in this intersection will be improved and lives saved.
