Tyson Foods Donates to Nashville School District Pantry Program
Tyson Foods in Nashville has awarded Nashville High School $25,000 in support of the district’s pantry project that assists students in grades K-12. The funding will be used to sustain the program and allow for expansion.
A number of local businesses and individuals have also made contributions to sponsor 7-12 grade students, to allow them to “shop” the high school supermarket which provides non-perishable food items. Younger students may also participate through a backpack program. The district would like to thank all of the sponsors.
