CASA and Texarkana Children’s Advocacy Center to Proclaim April as Child Abuse Prevention Month

In recognition of April as Child Abuse Prevention Month, the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and the Texarkana Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) are inviting the community to join them for a special proclamation ceremony on April 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The event will take place at the Howard County Courthouse, located at 421 Main Street in Nashville.

The proclamation will officially declare April as Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness and highlight the importance of preventing child abuse and supporting those who work to protect vulnerable children. Attendees are encouraged to wear blue to show their support for this important cause.

CASA and the Texarkana CAC will be on hand to discuss the ongoing efforts to protect children in the community and provide resources for those in need. The event is open to all members of the public who wish to show their commitment to child abuse prevention and help make a difference in the lives of local children.

For more information about the event or to get involved with CASA or the Children’s Advocacy Center, please contact the organizations directly. Together, we can take a stand against child abuse and ensure the safety and well-being of all children in our community.
