Chancellor of UA Cossatot presents job opportunity to the Nashville City Council
Monday, during the Nashville City Council regular monthly meeting UA Cossatot Chancellor Steve Cole talked to the board about Developing Howard County. Cole said at UA Cossatot has always been a part of Economic and Community Development and they do a lot of things with their resources in the community.
Cole even discussed how Mayor Larry Dunaway assembled a lot of people from different industries together for a meeting at City Hall.
Cole mentioned how much it cost to become a member of the EDC in Howard County along with talking about the documentation that was handed out at the city council meeting.
Cole explained to the council that total funding for this position will be $81,000 and the salary for the applicant will be $53,000 annually. In conclusion aldermen of the Nashville City Council passed a motion to donate $15,000 to go towards funding the Developing Howard County Director position.
