Dierks School District hires Elementary Principal

Last week Board Members of the Dierks School District held their regular monthly meeting.

There was a motion made by Laykon Graham and seconded by Jeffrey Mounts to hire Andrew Craig Dodson as elementary principal as per the 2023-2024 salary schedule. The board also approved the resignations of Kevin Alexander as high school teacher and boys’ basketball coach and Rebecca Steward as high school special education teacher. There was a motion made by Laykon Graham and seconded by Justin Simmons to approve the 2023-2024 certified salary schedule and classified salary schedule. All motions were passed unanimously.
