Scrappers lose 7-5 to New Diana, TX

The Nashville baseball team lost their first game played in their swing through northeastern Texas yesterday.  The Scrappers had a one run lead over New Diana, at 5 to 4 after five innings, but the Texas squad scored three in the top of the 6th inning to take a 7 to 5 lead.  Scrapper bats weren’t able to produce any runs in the bottom of the inning, giving new Diana the two run victory.  Kason Willard took the loss for Nashville, which puts the Scrappers record at 4 and 2 this season.  Tyler Brown and Nic Garcia had the only Scrapper hits in yesterday’s games.

Nashville will be back in Texas today, with an additional game scheduled for Saturday, as well.
