Nashville Amends Trailer & Boat Ordinance

The city of Nashville has amended a previous ordinance regulating the storage and parking of trailers, boats and commercial vehicles. Under the new guidelines approved this week, residents can have multiple trailers such as boat trailers, campers, travel trailers or other recreational vehicles on their property, however, these must be kept behind the property’s front yard building line.

The ordinance also prohibits the storing of commercial vehicles or trailers in the central business district.

Violators of the newly approved ordinance are subject to a fine of one hundred dollars per day for each day the violation occurs.
