Nashville School Board accepts resignations; Graham discusses possible future projects

Monday, the Nashville School Board accepted the resignation of three certified teachers. All three resignations will be effective by the end of December.
Those resignations included Amy Westfall a primary school teacher, Lisa Hagler a Special Education teacher at the junior high and Andrea Britt and Special Education teacher at the high school. Graham stated the district has had more resignation over the past 45 days or so that he can every remember during the school year.
Board members voted to hire Paige Brown as a first grade teacher. Graham said she is currently on campus as an aid and will be working under a provisional licensure.
Graham also reported the Nashville High School received some state incentive money for their ACT Aspire scores. He said the school received $21,850.

Board members also approved the list of After-School Tutoring teachers.
Graham reported the district has used 38 percent of their budget and the district currently has a balance in the operating budget of $4,098,169.
