Nashville District Approves Plans For Return To School

The Nashville school board has approved a comprehensive plan for students to return to school during the 20/21 school year. The plan was approved Monday evening after a lengthy presentation from superintendent Doug Graham.

The plan includes on-site classroom instruction, a virtual learning option and a blended method of education again, should the state close schools down completely.

Graham stressed that students choosing the virtual option will need reliable internet at their home.

Parents interested in the virtual learning method for their students in grades K through nine can begin visiting with their child’s building administrators today about the plan.

Parents who have children in grades 10 through 12 can contact the high school about the virtual plan beginning July 27th.

School officials also say whichever method is selected, the student will be expected to complete a semester with their choice. Students will not be allowed to repeatedly flip between the two options.
