Nashville Rotary Club Meets In Weekly Gathering

Wednesday afternoon, Nashville Chamber of Commerce president Loren Hinton spoke to the Nashville Rotary Club about how the COVID – 19 pandemic has affected local businesses and chamber activities.

Hinton stated in March when he became the chamber president, he announced he planned to focus on tourism. However, later in March, the Coronavirus forced the chamber to make several changes.

Hinton reported the chamber had to cancel it’s annual Peach Blossom Festival and alter the annual Stand Up for America Fourth of July celebration. He said the chamber is making plans to host an event at the Nashville City Park that will feature music, trade days and family activities.
