Scrappers upset Panthers 28-20

The Scrappers were shut out in the first half but rallied after the half and won 28 to 20.

Nashville was held to three first downs in the first half but ended the game with 279 yards rushing and 315 total yards.

Nashville started their comeback on the first series of second half when Nashville scored their first touchdown on a three play drive. Ashdown responded with a touchdown of their own to lead 20 to 7.

The Scrappers then scored 21 unanswered points and took the lead with 10 minutes to play in the fourth quarter.

The Scrappers improved to 5 and 2 overall and 2 and 1 in the 7-4A conference. Ashdown dropped to 5 and 2 overall and 1 and 2 record in the conference.

In other conference action, Malvern defeated Mena 47 to 14 and Arkadelphia defeated Waldron 56 to 6.
